Galileo Reflection™ Dual-Gel Vertical Gel Units are engineered to deliver precise resolution of protein or nucleic acid fragments, accommodating one or two acrylamide gels (PAGE). PAGE separation offers unparalleled resolution, crucial for applications ranging from native or denatured protein analysis. With the incorporation of inspired design features and exceptional manufacturing methods, all four models in the Galileo Reflection™ Dual-Gel Vertical Gel series ensure consistent and reliable performance over years of continuous use.
The Galileo Reflection™ Dual-Gel Vertical Gel Units are compatible with most commercially available pre-cast mini gels and have a comprehensive offering of combs and accessories. Whether conducting western blotting or automated protein sequencing analysis, researchers can rely on Galileo Reflection™ Dual-Gel Vertical Gel Units to deliver precise results consistently. Their robust acrylic construction is resilient against breakage, warping or leakage. These units incorporate a rugged, spring-loaded clamp mechanism, alignment pins, and hollow gaskets, providing reliable and leak proof gel installation. Furthermore, glass plates provide exceptional flatness and finished edges, ensuring uniform separation of samples. The casting base facilitates direct casting on the upper buffer chamber, eliminating the need to move gels once polymerised. With an electrode configuration ensuring a uniform field, straight lanes, and rapid runs, researchers can save time and improve the rate of data generation. The upper buffer chamber uses the specific heat of the aqueous buffer to maintain a uniform temperature, minimising smiling effects. Additionally, all Galileo Reflection™ Dual-Gel Vertical Gel Units incorporate efficient an efficient water-cooling system which prevents band distortion during electrophoresis. For the mini 10cm x 10cm unit, optional notched aluminium plates are available to enhance heat dissipation and optimise resolution.
Galileo Reflection™ Dual-Gel Vertical Gel Units are available in four gel sizes including wide mini 85-2010-WCS and 85-2010-WCS which accommodate up to 72 samples. Optional additional upper buffer chambers allow for simultaneous use of the twin systems. Non-cooled 10cm x 10cm and 20cm x 10cm upper buffer chambers are also available. With a wide selection of combs, glass plates and blocking plates researchers have the tools they need to achieve optimal results. Galileo Reflection™ Dual-Gel Vertical Gel Units are compatible with pre-cast acrylamide gels from most other manufacturers and vertical agarose (VAGE) separation techniques, supporting seamless integration into existing laboratory electrophoresis workflows.
