The OMNI Prep 6 Multi Sample Homogeniser is an automated homogenising workstation that can simultaneously process up to six samples per cycle in volumes ranging from 1.5ml to 50ml.
The OMNI Prep 6 with a powerful 150-watt brushless motor and proven OMNI rotor stator technology automates sample mixing and homogenisation in an easy to use benchtop instrument. The powerful brushless motor enables gentle mixing or high speed sample disruption at variable speed controls from 500-30,000 rpm. Efficient sample disruption is achieved using generator probe oscillation including up and down motion to replicate human like movement of generator probes ensuring contact between generator probe and sample.
The OMNI Prep 6 is compatible with OMNI Stainless Steel Generator Probes, OMNI Tip™ Hybrid Probes or OMNI Tip™ Plastic Homogenising Probes from 5mm to 12mm in diameter. When equipped with disposable OMNI Tip™ Plastic Homogenising Probes, sample cross contamination can be eliminated. The OMNI Prep 6 Multi Sample Homogeniser is configured with interchangeable tube racks to support sample processing in a variety of sample tubes 1.5ml, 2ml, 15ml, 30ml & 50ml.
