Introducing the New Frontier™ 5706P Multi Centrifuge

Capella Science are excited to introduce the next evolution in laboratory separation, the new Frontier™ 5706P Multi Centrifuge. Designed for today’s modern laboratories, the FC5706P delivers powerful performance, compact design, and a host of innovative features tailored to clinical, research, and industrial needs.

Building on the trusted legacy of the popular FC5706 model, the new FC5706P offers enhanced reliability, improved usability, and expanded rotor compatibility, including two additional rotors for microtubes and a unique 4 place swing-out rotor for common blood and urine tubes. Better yet, it retains compatibility with existing FC5706 rotors, allowing seamless integration with current laboratory setups. Many laboratories are upgrading to the Frontier™ 5706P for its combination of space-saving design, advanced functionality, and the flexibility to meet growing diagnostic and general laboratory demands.

What Sets the New OHAUS Frontier™ FC5706P Centrifuge Apart?

  • LED status indicators with colour coded lights to clearly show operation modes: green for run completed, yellow for standby, and red during centrifugation. An audible signal with melody sounds at the end of each run, improving user awareness.
  • The quick spin function supports short runs for time-sensitive samples. 10 acceleration and deceleration settings to accommodate various protocols with 99 memory sets, to store and recall parameters.
  • Microprocessor controlled with a built in rotor imbalance sensor. The mechanical lid with a secure locking system enhances operator safety during use and is equipped with a maintenance-free DC motor that achieves up to 6000rpm and 4427g.
  • Two additional rotors flexibility a fixed angle rotor (18 × 1.5ml/2ml) and a 4 place swing-out rotor for 10ml blood and urine tubes. The enhanced blue display angled at 60°, offers better visibility and reduces power consumption
  • Intuitive touch wheel simplifies user interaction and allows for easy parameter adjustments. The system allows one touch toggling between RPM/RCF and Acc/Dec for operational flexibility. The splash proof control panel increases durability and protects the unit from accidental spills.
  • Sheet metal construction on the sides and back improves the unit’s overall strength and resistance
  • Upgraded lid lock system delivers higher holding forces, ensuring maximum safety during operation
  • Redesigned airflow system enhances motor cooling, supporting longer and more reliable performance
  • The universal power switch supports both 120V and 230V systems, making installation easy across various regions
  • Two Frontier™ FC5706P versions available a standard model for general applications and an IVD compliant version that meets EU Regulation (IVDR) 2017/746, Class A
