Manufactured in Brisbane, Steridium iCo2 Series CO2 Incubators are designed provide the precision control, reliability and repeatability required for cell culture and IVF applications. Backed by over 30 years of experience in medical and laboratory equipment manufacturing, Steridium combines modern technology with durable, practical design to support a wide range of research and clinical environments.
Available in capacities from 30L to 2400L, the iCo2 Series includes both benchtop and freestanding models with fan-forced air circulation as standard. The range features a stainless steel chambers and durable epoxy powder coated exteriors, with a temperature range from ambient +7°C to 80°C, CO2 control from 2-20%, and temperature stability of ±0.1°C. Flexible shelf configurations and mineral wool insulation support consistent and reliable chamber performance.
Steridium have developed micro digital control systems to provide stable and repeatable operation over time. The PID controller includes an auto-tuning function to optimise settings for each incubator configuration, independent of chamber size. An integrated alarm system can be configured as an absolute maximum or deviation alarm, and an independent mechanical thermostat will activate the alarm and cut off the heating element in the event of control system failure to protect samples within the chamber.
