They didn’t redesign their process. They didn’t battle shear stress. They moved from their shake flask to a Kuhner SB10-X Orbital Shaken Bioreactor, and their cells barely noticed the difference:

  • Comparable VCD profiles
  • Comparable specific productivity (9.6-12pg/cell/day)
  • Same gentle, bubble-free surface aeration
