Sphere Fluidics has announced the launch of Cyto-Cellect®PLUS. This new assay provides a rapid solution to quantify IgG production in single cells. Cyto-Cellect®PLUS detection kit is designed to work in conjunction with the Sphere Fluidics Cyto-Mine® platform detecting whole molecule human IgG with κ and λ light chain, secreted from cells encapsulated within picodroplets. The fluorescent probes bind to human IgG after secretion from encapsulated cells. Together with the Sphere Fluidics Cyto-Mine® platform, this new assay provides a streamlined method to measure antibody production in single cells by rapidly detecting secreted human IgG, enabling the identification and selection of cells with the highest productivity for more efficient cell line development.
Cyto-Cellect®PLUS is a robust and easy to use Fluorescence Resonance Energy Transfer (FRET) assay that enables researchers to quantify IgG productivity with high sensitivity. Expanding on Sphere Fluidics’ original Cyto-Cellect® Human IgGκ Detection Kit, Cyto-Cellect®PLUS now detects both the IgG kappa (κ) and lambda (λ) light chains supporting broader applications.
Cyto-Cellect®PLUS is certified animal origin free (AOF) and is tested for isolation of IgG secreting CHO cells (IgG4κ and IgG1λ light chain) using Cyto-Mine®. The donor and acceptor probes are verified to bind to human IgG1-4λ and human IgG1-4κ.
